WHAT NOW? THIS! ... WHAT? NOW THIS!

Born and raised in Iowa, Denia moved to California in 2007. She worked as a professional computer software engineer for over 20 years.

Her first book, "Scotty McDog Meets Kitty O'Cat" was written and sketched in about 1992, then kept in a box until being completed in the first part of 2020. She is self-taught in art, and has fun taking inexpensive online classes and watching endless YouTube tutorials for different techniques.

Now in retirement from financial programming, Denia happily works full-time doing the things that were neccesarily missed during years of business and child rearing. Denia enjoys writing stories, reviews, songs, and poems. She has art projects of myriad nature at all times, in progress or in planning: Murals, mosaics, watercolor and acrylic painting, ceramic arts, photography, jewelry making, sewing, and many types of crafts.

Additionally, she endeavors to sing and play ukulele, and to speak Italian, all to a bit more than the novice level.

She loves to travel--intrastate, interstate, and foreign. Food and drink of nearly any kind delight her, and she is a pretty good baker of treats and breads. Spending time with friends and family, live music at small venues, walking in the city or the hills are all favorites, and she is always open to suggestions for activities.

Denia lives in northern California with her husband, Jerry, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog, Trini.
